Michele (Agia Akal) Anderson has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 1999 when she took her first yoga class while studying at the University of Minnesota.

My Story

She has been teaching since 2011, after completion of the 220-hour training through KRi. She has served on the board of the Kundalini Collective and coordinated one level 1 and  two level 2 trainings in the twin cities. She sees, practices and teaches Kundalini Yoga through a trauma-informed lens, which considers the historical context, grounding in yoga philosophy, its recent history, and current uses. Michele particularly enjoys playing the gong.
