Denise Ward's partner Boyd Hansen was shot in February. Very early one morning, as they were finishing their morning meditation, he heard a noise in the alley. He looked out his second-story window, and saw three people breaking into his neighbor's garage. They saw him too, and one of them shot him. The bullet went through his jaw and into his shoulder causing massive damage, especially inside his mouth. He will need extensive dental work.
